I am a visual artist and arts manager based in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal-QC), with ties to Tkaronto (Toronto), born and bred in Adàwe (Ottawa-ON). I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (University of Ottawa) and a graduate certificate in Arts Management (Centennial College). Currently pursuing a Masters in Fine Arts in painting and drawing at Concordia University, I am prioritizing experimentation in my work, following curiosity into new corners of conceptual and material practice.
In Canada, my work has been shown throughout Southern Ontario and Montreal, including at Duran Mashaal Gallery, Art Mûr, Ateliers Belleville, Concordia’s MFA Gallery, TIAN Contemporain, Cambridge Art Galleries, Fashion Art Toronto, Nuit Blanche Toronto 2019, Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, Aurora Cultural Centre, Good Sport Gallery, Studio Sixty-Six, St. Brigid’s Centre for the Arts, and Queen Elizabeth Park Community, amoungst others. Internationally, I have exhibited in the Spring Break Art Fair in NYC, New York as well as in Blönduós and Akureyri, Iceland; the latter in collaboration with The Table Collective.
I am grateful to have received several awards, including the Dale and Nick Tedeschi Studio Arts Fellowship, a Peter N. Thomson Family Field School Award, an Elspeth McConnell Internship Award, the Gunter Nolte Scholarship, the Visual Arts Alumni Fund Award and the Edmund and Isobel Ryan Visual Arts Scholarship.
I am represented by TIAN Contemporain in Montreal-QC.
