About the project:

In Scene Trippers, Dream Clippers, What do you feel? What do you make real? I explore visual strategies of camouflage to blur the boundaries between figure and environment, figuration and abstraction, and subject and backdrop through painting and photography. The cryptid – a mythical animal whose existence is scientifically unfounded but culturally pervasive – acts as both site and subject for these in-between states and places of being. Portals to fictionalized body-places, my works center seduction, theatricality, child-like wonder, and the unknown in relation to the landscape.

Thanks! Hope to see you there!
