Until July 2, 2022 I’m in Prince Edward County participating in my first residency: Alchemy! Alchemy is an Ontario-based artist residency committed to fostering community engagement through the exploration and sharing of art, food and conversation.
During the residency I will be making site responsive work and honouring the labours and contributions of the field workers who form the backbone of Ontario’s agricultural industry through the making and sharing of communal meals each Wednesday.
If you are in the county, come visit us at the Wellington Heritage Museum during our Open Studio days on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11-4pm. Stop in to say hi and see the resident artists’ work in progress. I will also be leading a free collage workshop (open to all!) at the museum on Saturday July 2 from 11-2pm.
